Our family is sad to announce the passing of Robert (Bob) on March 25, 2026 at LaSalle Hospital after a long and brave battle with cancer.

Husband of late Maureen Redfearn, son of the late Mary Cormack and Robert F. Cormack, dear brother of Betty Easterbrook and the late Iris Searle.

Much loved father to Kim, Craig and Kent Cormack (Katherine Csaki). Dear Grandfather of Ryan Trunk (Tiffanie) and Eric Trunk and Kyle Cormack. Great Grandpa to Lily, Caiden and Calisi Trunk.

Bob enjoyed working in the claims area as an insurance adjuster for many years. Later on, he enjoyed working in Sales.

He was an avid skier and was skiing until he was 78 years young. Bob started the West Island YMCA Ski School and taught many how to ski.

He loved reading books, listening to Frank Sinatra and visiting Val-David. He also loved bicycling and walking.

We would like to thank his doctors and nurses at Lakeshore General Hospital and LaSalle Hospital for their care.

There will be a funeral and service along with a celebration of Life at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society (https://cancer.ca/en?form=employermatching&_gl=1) will be appreciated in his memory.

He will be very missed.
