We are deeply saddened to share that Mr. Pietro Giovanni Blasi passed away on December 29, 2025, at the age of 92. Pietro was born in Paternopoli, Italy, and moved to Canada when he was just 18. Like many Italian immigrants, he built a good life for himself and his family through hard work and dedication. His work ethic was truly admirable.«Still good» will be the quote that will never be forgotten.


He was the beloved husband of Lisa Mastropolo for 68 years and a cherished father to Angela (Glenn). His surviving family and friends will miss him deeply.

The family wishes to express heartfelt thanks to Dr. Beaudry, Dr. Roy, and especially the dedicated nurses at Verdun Hospital for their exceptional support and care. Their kindness and compassion touched not only him, but also his wife, offering comfort and strength during a challenging time.

His generous spirit, gentle nature, and boundless kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
