Paul Marcella
March 14, 1953 - December 22, 2025
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce that Paul Marcella passed away peacefully in the early hours of December 22, 2025 at the Verdun General Hospital after a brief illness.
Beloved son of the late Gertrude (Wood) and Paul Gerard Marcella.
Much loved brother of Jane (Brian Staples), Eileen and Charlotte.
Loving uncle of Emma, Graeme, the late Liam, Tieg, Siobhan and Kendra.
Great-uncle of Henry, Arthur, Norah, Coen, Grady and Brinley.
Paul was an avid gardener and enjoyed playing golf. He was a passionate bowler and was the President of the Holy Trinity Bowling League.
One of his proudest moments was scoring a perfect game of 300!
For over fifty years, he was a committed and dedicated employee of Merchant Customs Brokers. He recently retired and started volunteering at the Welcome Hall Mission. This new experience was something he really enjoyed and looked forward to going there every week.
Many thanks to the staff at the Verdun General Hospital for their very kind and compassionate care.
The family will receive condolences on Saturday, January 31 2026 from 1 pm to 5 pm at Yves Légaré funeral Complex, 7200 Newman, Lasalle.
Donations to the Welcome Hall Mission would be greatly appreciated..
