Luigi Verelli
September 5,1932 – March 4,2025
It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Luigi Verelli, on March 4,2025, at 92 years old, peacefully and surrounded by his loving family.Beloved husband of Giovanna (Bresciani) for over 65 years, devoted father to Rocco (Amelia) and Franca. Deeply cherished and exceptional Nonno to grandchildren Justin and Jordan.
Predeceased by his parents Teresa and Guiseppe, by his sisters Vincenza, Angelina, Agnese,Giovanna and brothers Antonio, Sebastiano and Nicola.
He is survived and will be dearly missed by his sisters Maria (Domenico) and Gaetana (Mario),brother-in law Carlo and sister-in law Pierina, his brother-in-law Sebastian Bresciani (Alice), as well as numerous extended relatives, nieces, nephews and close friends.
Luigi will be remembered as a humble, honest, kind- hearted, hard working and intelligent man who was always smiling and ready to offer a helping hand to family and friends.Gone but never forgotten. He leaves behind a legacy of love, wisdom and unwavering dedication to his family. He will live in our hearts forever.
We wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Mark Lipman for his remarkable care and compassion, as well as Dr. Judith Therrien and Dr. Arnold Zylbergold. Our sincere thanks to Nurse Noura and staff at the Jewish General Hospital-Pavilion K-10 for their exceptional care.

The family will receive condolences at the Yves Legare Funeral Home, 7200 Blvd. Newman,Lasalle, on Monday March 10, from 5 to 9 pm.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday March 11 at 11:00am at Madre Dei Cristiani, 7935 rue Lefebvre, Lasalle. Followed by burial at NotreDame- des-Neiges Cemetery: Eulalie-Durocher Mausoleum.
