It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Guido Picarazzi, at the age of 95.
Guido lived a long and fulfilling life, marked by kindness, strength, generosity and an unwavering devotion to his family. He leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories and values that will continue to inspire all who knew and loved him.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 65 years Giuseppina; his devoted daughter, Luisa (Enrico); his treasured granddaughters, Cassandra (Anthony) and Sabrina (Shawn); and his great-grandchildren, Ariana and the little one on the way who will forever hold him in their hearts.
The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm at Yves Légaré Funeral Complex, 7200 Newman Boulevard, LaSalle, Quebec H8N 1X2
A mass celebrating Guido's life will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at 12:30pm at Madre Dei Cristiani Church.
The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all those who have offered their love, prayers and support during this difficult time. They also wish to express their sincere appreciation to the nurses, doctors and staff at Centre d'hébergement Nazaire Piché in Lachine for their compassionate care and unwavering support.
Guido will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered and forever present in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
