It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Giuseppe Del Paggio on January 19, 2026.
Beloved husband of 60 years to Domenica Palmieri, a devoted and loving father to Luigi (Lynn), Linda (Domenic) and Mauro, cherished grandfather to Alexa, David, Kristina, Jenna, Julia, and Dalia. He will be deeply missed by his sister, Maria (Giovanni); his brother-in-law, Felice (Michelina); as well as his many nieces, nephews, extended family members, friends, and predeceased by his brother, Cosimo (Petronilla).
Giuseppe passed away feeling the love of his family, who surrounded him. Above all else, he cherished his family and found his greatest joy in the time spent together, whether sharing stories, laughter, or the quiet comfort of each other's presence.
One of Giuseppe's greatest passions was gardening. He took pride in nurturing his garden and sharing the fruits of his labour with family and friends, believing that what was grown with care was meant to be shared. His garden was not only a reflection of his patience and dedication, but also of his generous spirit. He taught by example the importance of family, hard work, and gratitude for life's simple blessings.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Yves Légaré Funeral Complex, 7200 Newman Blvd., on Sunday, January 25 from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m., and on Monday, January 26, starting at 9:00 a.m. A funeral service will follow at Madre dei Cristiani Church, 7935 Rue Lefebvre, at 10:30 a.m.
