It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Doris McCartney (née Buchanan), on December 7,2025, at the age of 92. Doris was born on January 10,1933.

She was predeceased by her loving husband, Calvin Mccartney. Doris is survived by her children Sharon and Scott (Danielle); her granddaughters Amanda (Kevin), Cindy (Chad); and her cherished great-grandchildren Maverick, Carson, Eleanor and Abigail. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Donna, along with her many nieces and nephews.

Doris will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. A private grave side service will be held for the immediate family

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the doctors and nurses at the Hôpital Anna-Laberge for their wonderful support and care.
