It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Derrick Wilkinson on May 22, 2026, at the age of 65.
He leaves behind his beloved mother, Dora (late Leon), his cherished daughter Tiana, and his loving sisters, Belinda (late Patrick) and Suzette (Bruce). He will also be deeply missed by his niece, Alexis, his nephew, Trevor (Daina), as well as many relatives and dear friends.
The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Yves Légaré Funeral Complex in Châteauguay, located at 123 Maple Boulevard, Châteauguay, Quebec, J6J 3P9.
The burial service will take place on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. at Près de Fleuve Cemetary 2750, boulevard Marie-Victorin, Longueuil, QC J4G 1P5
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors and nurses at Hôpital Anna-Laberge for their compassionate care and support.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Derrick Wilkinson may be made to one of the following organizations: The Heart and Stroke Foundation, The Canadian Cancer Society, or Hôpital Anna-Laberge Foundation.
