It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Mrs. Teodora Concetta Garcea Santaguida on August 6, 2024, at the age of 85.
Beloved wife of the late Antonio Santaguida, cherished mother of the late Joe (Luvana), Theresa (Pietro), and Maria (Roger). Devoted grandmother of Lawrence (Christina), Anthony (Fabiola), Carissa (Etienne), Michael (Natasha), the late Nicholas, Cristina, Stéphanie (Mathieu) and Frédéric. She will also be deeply missed by her great-grandchildren: Alec, Louis, Elliott, Dean, Aria, and Lionel. She was the cherished sister of the late Maria (Tony), Vince (Linda), and the late Joe (Laurie), and will be remembered fondly by many other relatives and friends.
Concetta was an extraordinary, courageous and intelligent woman who faced numerous challenges with steadfast determination and a passion for life. Her endless love for her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren was remarkable. A devoted friend to many, she was always ready to extend a helping hand to those in need. Those who had the privilege of knowing her felt truly blessed. She will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all those whose lives she touched. She was a true gem.
The family will receive condolences on Monday, August 12, 2024, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm and from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at 12:30 pm at Madre Dei Cristiani Church, followed by interment at Notre-Dame-Des-Neiges Cemetery.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the doctors and nurses at St. Mary's Hospital for their wonderful support and care.
