John had many passions that brought him joy throughout his life. He was an avid golfer and fisherman, enjoyed creating stained-glass art, and took pride in tending to his garden.
John was the long-time president of the Ukrainian Vidlunnya Choir and was also instrumental in creating the Spivanka singing group, which has been entertaining seniors in long-term care for the past 15 years.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the “Ukrainian Youth Association Benevolent of Quebec Inc.” (registered charity), for the account of Vidlunnya Choir in memory of John Panyszak or to the “Spivanka” singing group.
