John Ioannis Giakoumakis 1936-2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. John Ioannis Giakoumakis, on September 30, 2024, at the age of 88.

Beloved husband of Maria Georgakaki Giakoumakis, cherished father of Despina (Alexandros) Alexopoulos and Haralambos Giakoumakis and a devoted grandfather of Christos, Filothei, Ioannis and Maria. He will also be deeply missed by his many relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday October 3, 2024 at 2pm at St-Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the doctors and nurses at the Hôpital Général Juif de Montréal for their wonderful support and care.

In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to the Jewish General Hospital Foundation.
