Joan McLean 1940-2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Miss. Joan “Joanie” McLean,
on April 10, 2024, at the age of 83.
Born in Bathurst, New Brunswick, she was the daughter of the late Murray and Sarah
(née Westerberg) McLean. Joan is survived by her brothers David, Kenneth and James,
and her sister Sandra. She will be deeply missed by her relatives and friends, notably
her best friend Ada (Gaston), and her nieces Natalie (Robert) and Payton.
As per her wishes, no service will be held.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the doctors and nurses at Verdun
Hospital, especially Dr. Villeneuve, for their wonderful support and care.
Joanie, you will be in our hearts forever.
