Giovanna Manna 1931-2024

January 27, 1931 - January 29, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Giovanna Manna (nee Sgro), on January 29, 2024, at the age of 93.

Beloved wife for 53 years of the late Pasquale Manna, cherished mother of Nancy (François), Anna Maria (Mike) and Santo (Angela), devoted grandmother of Sabrina (Adriano), Madelyne, Joseph (Melissa), Connor, Kathleen and Ross. She will also be deeply missed by her great-grandchildren Alayna and Luca, the extended Manna family in Italy and many relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Friday February 2, 2024 at 12:00 pm at Madre Dei Cristiani Church, 7935, rue Lefebvre, and thence, to the Montréal - Cimetière Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the Résidence Persaud for their cherished care of our mother as well as the emergency room doctors and nurses at the Royal Victoria Hospital for their wonderful support and care.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Alzheimer Society or the Heart & stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
