Giannoula Kourakis 1936-2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Giannoula Maragoudaki Kourakis, on November 22nd 2024, at the age of 88.

Cherished mother of Arianthi, Argyro (Sonny) and Stella (Lazaros), devoted grandmother of TJ (Julie), Nick, Irene (Nikita), Michael (Alessandra), David (Maria), Joanna (Matthew), Anastacia (Gabriel) Nikko (Joanne). She will also be deeply missed by her great-grandchildren Nicolas and Sofia. She will also be fondly remembered by her sisters in law Antonia Tsismenakis and Varvara Kourakis, as well as her brother in law Demostenis (Artemis) Kourakis, and by her many beloved nieces and nephews, family and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 4pm to 8pm

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday November 26th 2024 at 10:00 am at St-Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, and thence, to the Notre-Dame-de-L'Espérance Cemetery.

The family would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the staff at the CHSLD Ste-Dorothée for their wonderful support and care.
