It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr.George Thanopoulos, on December 27, 2023, at the age of 88.
Pre-deceased by his wife Evangelia Manos, cherished father of Dimitra (Keney) and Panagiotis (Pagona), devoted grandfather of Evangelia and Sotiris. He will also be deeply missed by his brother-in law Georges, his nieces and nephews Irini, Nikos, Stefanos, Maria, Alexandros, Nicole, and Feras as well as many relatives and friends.
The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 from 4 pm to 9 pm.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday January 4, 2024 at 1:30 pm at St.Nicholas Church Church, 3780, ch du Souvenir, and thence, to the Notre-Dame de L'Espérance Cemetery.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the doctors and nurses at the CHSLD Ste-Dorothée for their wonderful support and care.

It is with great sadness to hear about the death of George (or as we called him (Mr. George). Our sympathies to his children and grandchildren . We have very many fond memories of times spent with the whole family, especially our time living on D"Anvers.. The friendship continued for many years after. . Our thoughts are with you during this difficult time.
