Condolences to the family

My sincere and heartfelt condolences to the Matsoukas Family for their loss. I had the pleasure of knowing George throughout my high school years at MCHS, running into him from time to time through the years, and (thankfully) reuniting with him during our impromptu “reunions” with our MSCS friend over the last couple of years. It always amazed me how each time we ran into each other it felt like it was “only yesterday” that I had seen him. He was a genuinely good soul and a beautiful person to be around. We feel his loss and will remember the legacy he leaves behind. Rest well my old friend. Καλό παράδεισο.

I don’t know where to start. George was an AMAZING person. From the moment my husband and I met him on a random afternoon in the West Island 20 years ago he became our advisor, our anchor, our FRIEND. Without George we would have never achieved our 1st home purchase. George held our hands like a family member, which he became. Our children and our parents knew and loved him. He always spoke to us about his lovely girls and their accomplishments. An amazing family man. I will miss his huge smile and his immensely positive outlook on any situation. George inspired my husband and I. He was always available with superb advice. We will think of you and laugh as you always laughed! Love you my G! You ladies have the best of the best looking over you now. ❤️

My sister and I have grown up with Daisy,Theo and Sophia and George. One of the many things we connected on was the love we have for our fathers, and how active our fathers are in our lives. I'm deeply sadden with the loss of George, he was funny, kind, strong and a great father to my sisters. I prayed for him to keep fighting and to be without pain. You fought hard for your family before cancer and during up to the very end George, that's a blessing. You are no longer in pain and I know you'll be protecting your family always. My heart is heavy for the big gap in their hearts with the loss of a great Father, husband, friend. My deepest condolences to your family and friends. May God give strength to push forward and heal. Love you George xo Mel

Α farewell with deep sorrow but also with immense love to my Godfather. After a hard and unequal battle with cancer, he left us, yet his presence will never fade from our hearts. He was a wonderful person, full of kindness, generosity, and love for life. My dearest Godfather, you are and always will be a part of my heart. May God rest your soul, and know that our love for you will never fade. I love you forever.
