Dear Barry and Family, I had the privilege of sitting beside Don at the Barry F. Lorenzetti Foundation Fundraising gala a while back. He spoke proudly of his family. He also spoke very passionately of his career as Sensei of Karate. At the end of our evening together, I reflected on how I wished the world had more men like Don. A man interested in learning about others. À man interested in instilling self respect and passion in our future generation. , A man passionate about his family. A gentle soul who will be missed.

Oh man, this is a tough one, my dear Don such a wonderful man. To all of Don's family there are no words that I can express how much Don will be missed, a true gentleman and loved by so many of us. My deepest sympathies to Don's family, absolutely heartbreaking to see this, I truly though Don would be out live all of us. Sending our deepest sympathies to Don's family and loved ones. For many years, Saturdays meant a drive to Don's dojo. The kids (now adults) would be in class while we waited, often chatting with Dina. We felt so lucky to be part of Don's universe. He shaped our understanding of honour, integrity, strength, and kindness. We will always love him. Kira & Sasha Raffi & Alma
