It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Caroline Biebl, on December 2, 2024, at the age of 57.
Beloved wife for 33 years of Michael Goddard, cherished mother of Kayla (Sébastien), Brittany (François), Kevin (Nicole), Lisa, Kelsey and Celina, devoted grandmother of Lea, Ella, Ava, Aria and Michael. She will also be deeply missed by her mother Elisabeth, her sister Brigitte (Khalifa), her brothers Peter (Susan) and Bob (Marta), as well as many relatives and friends.
The family will receive condolences on Sunday, December 8, 2024 from 10 am to 2 pm and from 4 pm to 7 pm at Centre Commémoratif du Ruisseau ( the complex at 45 rue Principale, Laval, H7X-3V5).

We met in back in daycare (Joyce Academy), took ballet classes together and went through elementary and high school together. Her positivity and energy were always contagious. Over the last 10/15 yrs , although we went to school together and I spent many hours at the Biebls parties, Caroline and 5 of our high school friends have been able to reconnect. We have been getting together for dinners out, and pot luck's at each other's homes, trivia nights, at least every 2/3 mths. She was so proud of each and everyone of you. When she spoke about her family she truly lite up. I will miss you my dear friend. I will miss wondering if you will actually show up! You did. Almost everytime, even if it was just to sit and talk for an hour. You showed up. We will honor you every time we get together, and keep a sit for you at our our table. Rest in peace my dear friend.

I will cherish these memories forever. I was glad to see her this past fall and reflect on some of these past memories. We still had a few good laughs. My son Phoenix and I will miss those times. As Mike’s longtime business partner, I have fond (and slightly guilt-tinged ) memories of Caroline. When Snogone first took flight, she didn’t just accept that her newlywed home was about to double as company HQ- she somehow endured it. The noise, the mountains of inventory, and the delightful bouquet of workshop fumes wafting from the family garage! And how did Caroline respond? (Yes she objected about the odors, who wouldn’t?) …She responded by diving into the chaos of endless ringing phones (yes, Snogone was super chaotic from day 1, the phone was witnessed to ring even at 11pm sometimes). She worked her charm and wit with the clientele like a pro- while expertly juggling alternating baby cries coming from somewhere within arm’s reach, as if managing a startup and a daycare was all part of the job description. That’s right, Caroline was our secret engine driving our chaos. It became a never-ending loop, more work, more clutter, more Snogones dotting the avenues, and obviously more creative uses of the property during the fall (thankfully we were blessed with summer storage elsewhere). She put up with this circus for a solid decade back when the company’s corporate campus included the garage, the driveway, the basement, the bachelor apartment, every available street parking space and yes, for one memorable season, even the backyard. Furthermore, the street-facing bedroom was converted to an office (with a sliding window overlooking the front balcony for quick pickups and drop-offs). Let’s be honest- not everyone’s wife would have been so patient with a home startup business determined to conquer the area code!! Following all this, Caroline gave more time to better respond to the parenting process by taking care of herself by slowing down in order to be loving and present to 6 intelligent & well-raised kids. Eventually, she sped right up again as she navigated the evolution and growth of Celefête! She was brilliant!
