It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Athanasios Aliferis, on July 11, 2024, at the age of 97.
Cherished father of Stavroula (Theodoros) Mazis and Georgia (Georgios) Trichas, devoted grandfather of Eleni (Ioannis),Fotini (Christian), Evgenia (Raffi), Costa (Tina). He will also be deeply missed by his great-grandchildren Mila,Isahak, Theodoros, Valencia, Stavroula,Panagiotis and Penelope, his siblings Vasiliki (Manolis) Androulakis, Toula Aliferis from Greece, Pigi (Kosta) Kapoglis from Greece as well as his nieces,nephews, cousins and all other family and friends.
The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 from 5pm to 8pm.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday July 18, 2024 at 12:30 pm at Evangelismos Tis Theotokou Greek Orthodox Church, 777 Rue Saint-Roch.

Condolences to the family
My sincere condolences to Eleni and Mr Aliferis’ family. I have fond memories of him from the CHSLD and his stories from his life in Kalamata. It’s hard to believe that he passed away one month after my mother Jeannine. May he rest in peace.
