Athanasia (Soula) Vasilopoulos

1959-2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Athanasia (Soula) Vasilopoulos, on April 18, 2024, at the age of 64.

Beloved wife for 42 years of late Carlos Raposo, cherished mother of Mary (John) and Michael (Gabrielle). She will also be deeply missed by her brother Meni (Mary) and nephew Nicholas, as well as her many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Soula was the heart and soul of our family, and she will be dearly missed. She will be remembered for her big heart, love for her children and generosity. Her biggest talent was her cooking and baking, and we were lucky to be the recipients of her delicious meals.

Mom, it has broken us to lose you, but we are thankful for all you gave us. Rest easy now with daddy by your side.

The family will receive condolences on Tuesday, April 23rd, 2024 from 3 pm to 8 pm.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 24th, 2024 at 11:30 am at St-Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church (3780 ch. du Souvenir, Laval, H7V 1Y3) , followed by the burial at the Notre-Dame-de-l’Espérance (1759, Rue Antoine-Dalmas, Laval, H7Y 2A8)

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the doctors and nurses at the Jewish General Hospital for their wonderful support and care.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Jewish General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.   https://secure.jghfoundation.org/site/TR/DIY/DIY_2021?px=1178011&pg=personal&fr_id=1240
