It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Michael E. P. Ballard, on January 4, 2024, at the age of 84.
Beloved husband of Lorraine (née Whitewick), cherished father of Gary (Bonnie) and Michael (Diane), devoted grandfather of Tracy (Charles), Stephanie (Sean), Patrick (Kielli), Michael (Marie-Laurence), and Caroline (Matthew), and dear brother of Bill (Fran), Lorna (David), and the late Rosemary (Gregory) and Helen (Jack). He will also be deeply missed by his great-grandchildren, Katherine, Lillyanne, Emilia, Olive and Rosalie, and his many relatives and friends.
The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 from 3:00PM to 7:00PM, at the Yves Légaré Funerary Complex, 7200 Newman Boulevard, in LaSalle.
A memorial service in honour of his life will be held in the chapel of the complex on January 25, 2024 at 10:30AM.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the doctors and nurses at the Jewish General Hospital of Montreal for their wonderful support and care.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be appreciated.
