It is with tremendous sadness that we announce that Bryan Nix (born March 10,
1937), passed away peacefully on Monday July 1st 2024 at the age of 87.
Predeceased by his sister and brothers Breda, John and Leo. He is survived by his
loving wife, Shirley, his sons Michael and Colin (Stacey), granddaughters Madison
and Taylor, many nieces and nephews and their families, and cousins in Ireland.
Bryan was a passionate golfer at the Kahnawake Golf Club, where he enjoyed
countless rounds with friends over the years. His devotion to the game was
matched only by his love for travel, particularly to his cherished homeland of
Ireland, where he found solace and joy in reconnecting with his roots through his
many return visits back year after year.
Throughout his life, Bryan exemplified warmth, generosity, and a zest for living. He
was well known for his quick wit and sharp sense of humour. Bryan leaves behind a
legacy of cherished memories, laughter, and love that will be forever treasured by
all who knew him. He will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Animatch in his memory.

In order to honour Bryan and the life he lived, there will be a Celebration of Life

Condolences to the family
I was just made aware of Bryan's passing, and wish to extend my sincere condolences to Shirley, Michael, Colin and their families. I value the chance to have seen Bryan last year, and cherish all the memories of Bryan from my years with him at DKD. In an industry filled with drama and egos, Bryan was the quiet presence behind the scenes that kept everything under control. May his memory be a blessing to all who shared time with him. RIP.
Please accept our sympathies for your loss; our prayers and thoughts are with your family
Shirley, Michael, Colin and families, I have no words. I just expected Bryan to live forever. It would be impossible to express just what a huge impact he had on my life. I often find myself asking WWBD? What would Bryan do? He was a mentor, a protector, a supporter throughout all my years working with him, ever since I was a know-it-all 17 year old. He had my back but he didn’t tolerate my nonsense. He expected just a little bit more of me when he knew I wasn’t giving my all and he was the last person I’d ever want to let down. I have so many amazing memories. I am incredibly grateful for having had him in my life and I’m so glad I got to spend some time with him last year. I’m sending you all my love and support. 💔 Susan Daley
