Aurelio Garofalo 1931-2024

Con il cuore pesante che annunciamo la scomparsa di Aurelio Garofalo, meraviglioso uomo, compassionevole, generoso e di buon cuore.  Amato marito di Maria Serravalle, padre adorato dai figli Lorella e Luigi (Antonella) ed amato nonno di Massimo Aurelio.

Lascia nel dolore la sorella Giselda (Clemente), i fratelli Franco (Chiarina) e Rainieri (Mary), i cognati Francesco (Maria) e Aurora (Franco) e numerosi nipoti, parenti e amici.

Lo accoglieranno nel riposo eterno sua sorella Lina e marito Giuseppe, il fratello Aleardo con la moglie Vittoria, e i cognati Rosetta e Mario.

La famiglia ricevera’ le condolglianze presso il Complexe Yves Légaré, 7200 Blvd Newman, LaSalle H8N 1X2, Lunedi 29 Gennaio dalle 14:00 alle 17:00 e dalle 19:00 alle 21:00. Il funerale avra luogo Martedi 30 Gennaio alle ore 11:00 presso la Chiesa Madre Dei Cristiani 7935 rue Lefebvre, LaSalle, H8N 1H.

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Aurelio Garofalo, a wonderful, compassionate, generous and kind-hearted man.  Loving husband of Maria Serravalle, cherished father of Lorella and Luigi (Antonella) and adored grandfather of Massimo Aurelio.

He will also be deeply missed by his sister Giselda (Clemente), brothers Franco (Chiarina) and Rainieri (Mary), brother-in-law Francesco (Maria) and sister-in-law Aurora (Franco) as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Predeceased by his sister Lina and her husband Giuseppe, brother Aleardo and his wife Vittoria and sister-in-law Rosetta and husband Mario who will welcome him into eternal rest.

The family will receive condolences at Complexe Yves Légaré, 7200 Blvd Newman, LaSalle H8N 1X2 on Monday January 29^th from 14:00 to 17:00 and from 19:00 to 21:00. The funeral will be held on Tuesday January 30^th at 11:00 at Madre Dei Cristiani church 7935 rue Lefebvre, LaSalle, H8N 1H5

If preferred, in lieu of flowers a donation may be offered to the Jonathan Caiola Tribute fund (Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation)

 

C'est avec le cœur lourd que nous annonçons le décès d'Aurelio Garofalo, un homme merveilleux, compatissant, généreux et bienveillant. Époux bien-aimé de Maria Serravalle, père chéri de Lorella et Luigi (Antonella) et grand-père adoré de Massimo Aurelio.

Il manquera également beaucoup à sa sœur Giselda (Clemente), ses frères Franco (Chiarina) et Rainieri (Mary), son beau-frère Francesco (Maria) et sa belle-soeur Aurora (Franco) ainsi que de nombreuses nièces, neveux, parents et amis.
Prédécédé par sa sœur Lina et son mari Giuseppe, son frère Aleardo et son épouse Vittoria et sa belle-soeur Rosetta et son mari Mario qui l'accueilleront dans le repos éternel.

La famille recevra les condoléances au Complexe Yves Légaré, 7200 Boul Newman, LaSalle H8N 1X2 le lundi 29 janvier de 14h00 à 17h00 et de 19h00 à 21h00.

Les funérailles auront lieu le mardi 30 janvier à 11h00 en l'église Madre Dei Cristiani 7935 rue Lefebvre, LaSalle, H8N 1H5
