It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Rosanna Sgrignuoli, on January 24, 2025, at the age of 72.
Beloved wife of the late William Sr. Descotes, cherished mother of William Jr. (Maggie), devoted grandmother of Melina, Valentina and Alessia. She will also be deeply missed by her brother Giuseppe (Diane), her godson Michel (Sonia) and many relatives and friends.
The family would like to particularly thank Dr. Wong and the staff of the intensive care unit at Glen Hospital for their support and the good care provided.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Mcgill University Health Centre Foundation would be appreciated.

À Montréal, le 24 janvier 2025, à l’âge de 72 ans, est décédée Madame Rosanna Sgrignuoli, épouse de feu William Sr. Descotes.
Elle laisse dans le deuil son fils William Jr. (Maggie), ses petites-filles Melina, Valentina et Alessia, son frère Giuseppe (Diane), son filleul Michel (Sonia), ainsi que plusieurs parents et amis.
La famille tient à remercier particulièrement le Dr.Wong ainsi que le personnel de l'unité des soins intensifs de l'Hôpital Glen pour leur soutien et les bons soins prodigués.
Au lieu de fleurs, un don à la Fondation du Centre Universitaire Santé Mcgill (CUSM) serait apprécié en la mémoire de Rosanna Sgrignuoli.

William and Family Sincere condolences on the loss of your Mom. I worked with her for many years and we had a great time always. Many laughs. She was a very genuine and special woman. She sure was so proud of you William. You both had a special bond and she loved you so much. She treasured her three grandchildren. Her babies she called them and was so proud when talking about them. I know it will be different with your Mom not her in sight but she will be there in Spirit for sure,watching what your doing and hoping you took all of the advice that she gave you. She loved giving advice and a lot of it. 💐 Rosanna was very special. I didn’t get to see her a lot after work but we always kept in contact by phone or messenger.. Rest well Rosanna. Your work here is done. You have earned your wings so soar high with the Angels until we all meet again. Xox
