C’est avec le cœur profondément lourd et brisé, que nous partageons le décès de Roland C. Guy (« Papi Guy »), fils du Dr Roland Guy et de Françoise Clément, survenu le lundi 8 juillet 2024, à l’âge de 84 ans.
Roland était un père dévoué et aimant pour son fils, Roland R. Guy et sa femme Lori ; sa fille, Lyne (Kyle) Guy et son mari Duane ; et sa fille, Josée (Robidoux) Guy et son époux Eric. Il était également le grand-père chéri de huit (8) beaux petits-enfants – Phoenix, Delphine, Mason, Jagger, Justin, Morrisan, Maxwell et Ryan. Roland laisse dans le deuil sa sœur, Nicole (Montpetit) Guy ; son frère, Clément Guy (Evelyne) ; et son frère, Bernard Guy. Il fut prédécédé par son frère, François Guy (Isabelle Lajeunesse) ; sa sœur, Francine Guy (Warren Sponable) ; et son frère, Hubert Guy. Il laisse également dans le deuil de nombreux neveux, nièces, parents et amis aimants.
La famille recevra les condoléances, le dimanche 18 août 2024, de 13h00 à 16h00, à Yves Légaré Laval, situé au 1350, autoroute 13, Laval, Québec.
Il y aura une courte cérémonie prévue à 16h00, suivie d’une réception. Nous invitons tous les invités à se joindre à nous pour déguster de la nourriture et du vin, alors que nous partageons et célébrons nos nombreux souvenirs de la vie bien vécue de Papi.

It is with profoundly heavy and broken hearts, that we share the passing of Roland C. Guy (“Papi Guy”), son of Dr. Roland Guy and Françoise Clément on Monday, July 8, 2024, at the age of 84.
Roland was a devoted and loving father to his son, Roland R. Guy and wife Lori; his daughter, Lyne (Kyle) Guy and husband Duane; and his daughter, Josee (Robidoux) Guy and husband Eric. He was also a cherished grandfather to eight (8) beautiful grandchildren – Phoenix, Delphine, Mason, Jagger, Justin, Morrisan, Maxwell, and Ryan. Roland is survived by his sister, Nicole (Montpetit) Guy; brother, Clement Guy (Evelyne); and brother, Bernard Guy. Predeceased by his brother, Francois Guy (Isabelle Lajeunesse); sister, Francine Guy (Warren Sponable); and brother, Hubert Guy. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
The family will receive condolences on Sunday, August 18, 2024, from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m., at Yves Légaré Laval, located at 1350, autoroute 13, Laval, Quebec.
There will be a short ceremony scheduled for 4:00 p.m., with a reception to follow. We invite all guests to join us for some food and wine, as we share and celebrate our many memories of Papi’s well-lived life.
