Maddalena was the beloved wife of the late Egidio Aguzzi, with whom she shared 51 years of unwavering love and partnership. Together, they built a family foundation that was strong, compassionate, and full of warmth. She was a loving mother to her two sons, David and Adam, and adored her daughters-in-law, Oksana and Arianne, treating them as her own. Her love extended to her three grandchildren, Adrian, Dominic, and Atlas, whose lives she enriched with her kindness, wisdom, and the most delightful stories.
Beyond her family, Maddalena was a pillar in her community and church. Her commitment to her sons' education saw her deeply involved in their schools, eventually leading her to serve as the head of the elementary daycare, a role she embraced with passion until her retirement. Maddalena's social spirit and exceptional cooking brought joy to many gatherings, leaving a legacy of memorable moments and cherished recipes.
Survived by her brothers, Frank and Peter Niro, Maddalena's absence leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew her. Yet, her spirit will forever be remembered through the lives she touched, the community she built, and the love she freely gave.
A service to celebrate Maddalena's life will be held at Yves Legare (2750 Bd Marie-Victorin, Longueuil) on Tuesday, February 20 at 11:30am.
