It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Luigi Sabella, on March 30, 2024, at the age of 62.
Beloved husband for 37 years of Anna Maria Gabrielli, cherished father of Vincenzo, Joseph and Giuliano. He will also be deeply missed by his brother Giuseppe (Johanne), his sister Lucy (Vito) as well as his many nieces, nephews and relatives.
Luigi will be sadly missed by many customers, acquaintances and friends that frequent his local business of 22 years, Café Bar San Remo.
The family will receive condolences on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 from 2 pm to 5 pm and from 7 pm to 10 pm at the Yves Légaré Funeral Complex: 7200 Newman Boulevard.
A funeral service/prayer meeting will be held on Wednesday April 3, 2024 at 12:00 pm at Madre Dei Cristiani Church, 7935 Lefebvre Street.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to Doctor Moustapha Tehfe, Nurse Carole McMillan and the staff at the CHUM for their wonderful support and care.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

i spend many nights with Gigi at the bar, discussing politics, religion, health , food and of course family values. Gigi has a wonderful family i feel for your loss. Gigi was very inquisitive about aviation and always quizzed me how one navigates in the sky, why is there bumps in the air, how you land in fog and snow storms and how a huge peace of metal stays in the air. i was called the Pilot. well he now decided to fly to haven.
