It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Lorraine Fournier in Pierrefonds on November 29, 2024, at the age of 98 years.
She will be lovingly remembered by her son Daniel (Caroline Drouin) and her daughter Lisanne (Robert Major), her grandchildren who were her pride and joy, Alexandre (Maghen Eisan), Catherine, Nicolas (Charlotte Drouin), and Gabrielle as well as her sisters, Diane Snyder (late Fred Snyder) and Anne Daigneault (late Claude Daigneault). She will also be missed by her nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.
Lorraine was predeceased by her parents, Edward Howlett and Cécile Crevier, her longtime partner, Philippe Roy, her sisters Jocelyne Barclay (Bob Barclay), Line Lamarche (Hubert Lamarche), and her brother Peter Howlett (Maureen Howlett).
Lorraine was employed for many years as the municipal court clerk for the City of Pierrefonds. She was often recognized for her professionalism and her engagement to the local community. Her friends always enjoyed her joie de vivre and her generosity. Lorraine, affectionately known as Lolo by her grandchildren, loved golf, dancing, music, and watching the Montreal Canadiens. Her priority was always spending time with her family and friends.
The members of Lorraine’s family are grateful to all the employees of Vent de l’Ouest (Groupe Maurice) especially the wonderful SIGNATURE team for their devotion, humanity, and for the quality of the care that was given.
A celebration in honour of her life will be held in 2025.
Donations in her memory to ANFQ (Association de la neurofibromatose du Québec) would be appreciated by the family.

My deepest condolences to the whole family and friends of Lorraine. My mother Francine was a dear friend of the 3 sisters Lorraine, Anne and Line for more than 40 years. I kept in touch with Lorraine after my mom passed many years ago and she would share wonderful advice, she was funny, witty and always positive. And she would often share how much she appreciated everything her son and daughter did for her and how proud she was of them and all her grandkids. Rest in Peace Lorraine, I will miss you!
Mes sincères sympathies à la famille de Lorraine. Je vais la manquer énormément. Une personne avec une personnalité à elle seule.. Bon voyage Lorraine! AUF WIEDERSEHEN,!
I wish to extend my sincere condolences to all of my Auntie Lorraine’s family.
