Jozefa Marut

1926-2024
In loving memory of our beloved mother and grandmother, Jozefa Marut (nee Jasiak), who passed away peacefully at the age of 98 on April 5, 2024. She was a remarkable woman whose strength and resilience were an inspiration.

She is survived by her devoted son Stan (Tina), daughter-in-law Grace,  her grandchildren Jan, Alexandra, and Peter (Ola) and her nephew Jerzyk (Jola) and his family. She will also be remembered fondly by extended family and friends in Montreal and across Europe, including Poland.

We take comfort in knowing that she has now reunited with her husband Boleslaw and her son, Henryk and that she  is watching over us with love from above.

We want to express our appreciation for the attentive care provided by the staff at the Jewish General Hospital, 10 K.

Visitation will be held on  April 15 from 2-4/6-9 pm at Complexes Funeraires Yves Legare, 7200 Newman Blvd., LaSalle. Mass will be held on April 16 at 1pm, at Our Lady of Czestochowa, 2550 Gascon, Montreal, followed by  burial at 2:30pm at Cimetiere Cote des Neiges, location 3754 L.
