It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Janice Morton Edghill, on July 31, 2024, at the age of 77.
Adored daughter of Edmund B. Morton, beloved wife of Roger Edghill, cherished mother of Burt and Natalie Edghill, devoted grandmother of Juwan, Jaeden, Jonah, Jaxson and Jazmyn Edghill. She will also be deeply missed by her brothers/sisters Pamela Hart (Aubrey), Michael Morton (Junie), Angella Matthews, Joycelyn Berry (Sinclair), Oliver Claxton, Dale Morton (Carolyn), Novelette Morton, Charles Morton (Carlene), Wendy Grant (Lindsay), and many relatives and friends.
Janice was predeceased by her mother, Beryl Vaughn, brothers Michael and Winston Caines and aunts Oretha Warner and Cecilia James.
The family will receive condolences on Friday August 9, 2024 from 10 am to 11 am at the Yves Légaré Complex in LaSalle, 7200 Newman Blvd.
The funeral service will be held the same day at 11 am in the chapel of the complex. The service will be live streamed.
