Isabel Contreras 1943-2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother and grandmother Isabel Velásquez Contreras on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at St-Mary's Hospital in Montreal, Quebec.

She will be deeply missed by her husband Luis, sons Brian and Dennis, grand-daughter Miranda Isabel, daughter-in-law Roxana, sisters Eugenia and Rosalina, brothers Hermes, Hubert and Hugo, her large family of nieces, nephews, in-laws and their children and her cherished friends.

Her loss will always be felt, but her love will never be forgotten.
Her family would like to thank the staff at St-Mary’s Hospital's Oncology and Palliative Care Unit for their empathy and care. We would also like to thank the staff at the Montreal Neurological Institute.

On Monday July 17, the family will receive condolences from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Yves Légaré Funeral Complex on 14370 Blvd. Pierrefonds in Pierrefonds, Québec, immediately followed by a memorial service at 7:00 pm at the same location.
