It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Hubert Kunzmann, on January 12, 2024, at the age of 85 after a long battle with cancer.
Hubert was born to Olga & Fredrik on february 12th 1938 in Glitt, Romania.
Beloved husband of 64 years to Elizabeth Belafi, brother to Erika Kunzmann (Steve Belafi) cherished father of Cynthia Kunzmann Walbert, and father in law to John Walbert. Devoted grandfather of Matthew J. Walbert (Julie Vincent) and Amanda Walbert (Bradley Goodz). He will be deeply missed by his great-grandchildren Jayden, Florence, Jackson & Carter-James.
He will also be missed by his many relatives and friends.
The family will receive condolences on Friday, January 19, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:30 PM at Yves Legare funeral home located at 1350 Highway 13, Laval, QC, H7X 3W9.
A prayer meeting will be held the same day at 8:30 pm in the parlor and is welcome to all.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the doctors and nurses at the Jewish Hospital of Montreal for their wonderful support and care. We would also like to thank Holy Name of Jesus Church where he was a faithful member for many years.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Jewish General Hospital Foundation Cancer Research (Segal Center) would be appreciated.
