Herbert (Albert) Sakaitis 1931-2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Herbert (Albert) Sakaitis, on March 30th, 2024, at the age of 93.

Beloved husband of the late Yvonne Gouveia. Brother of Gertrude and the late Alfred, Dany and Eric. Predeceased by his Parents Petronele & Emilis Sakaitis. Cherished father of Neil (Sophie) and Peter, devoted grandfather of Emily, Ashley and Sammy.

The family will receive condolences on Thursday, April 4th, 2024, from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 9pm at Yves Legare Funeral Complex located at 2750 Boulevard Marie-Victorin, Longueuil, QC, J4G 1P5.
A prayer & funeral service will be held on Friday, April 5th, 2024 at 10:00 am in the chapel of the complex; followed by a reception from 11:30am - 1:30pm.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Le Groupe Maurice (L’Avantage) 2nd Floor Care Unit facility for their constant dedication, care and love they provided over the last year; and to the Palliative Care Unit at the Charles Lemoyne Hospital
