It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Cecilia Jubin Balsillie, beloved wife of the late Andrew, on June 12, 2024, at the age of 95.
Beloved mother of Debra (Frank), Robert (Dawn), and Steven, devoted grandmother of Christopher, Cindy (Vince), and Chelsie, and cherished great-grandmother of Liliana. She will also be deeply missed by her many nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors and nurses at the Lakeshore General Hospital for their wonderful support and care.
A celebration of life visitation will take place on August 3rd from 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM, followed by a prayer in the chapel from 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM at Complex Yves Légarè Pierrefonds.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.

Les condoléances à la famille
Cecilia was a joy to have in our virtual care program. Her personality and determination to be independent gave her strength. It was obvious how much her family meant to her and I am glad that we were able to support her to get back home for the short while. Condolences from the USV team.
My condolences to all of you, Auntie Cil will be greatly missed, I always loved seeing her, she was our second mom, now she will be with Uncle Andy and our mom and dad, watching over all of us. Take care, love Carol
I will miss my Aunt / Godmother forever. She was my second mother and never forgot to send me a birthday card and Christmas card. I loved her sense of humour, positive attitude and her love. I hope she is in peace and enjoying her family. Till we meet again.🙏
