It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr Antonio Quarta, on February 21, 2024, at the age of 102.
Beloved husband of Francesca Rosato for 68 years, cherished father of Maria (Mario), Tony (Pina) and Luigi Maurizio (predeceased 1992), loving grandfather of Francesca (Jerry), Katherine (Tony), Cristina (Mike), Silvana (Anthony), Danielle (Liam) and Isabelle (David). He will also be deeply missed by his 8 great-grandchildren plus one on the way, as well as many relatives and friends.
The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, February 28, 2024 from 2 pm to 5 pm and from 7 pm to 9 pm and Thursday, February 29, 2024 as of 10:00 am at the Yves Légaré Complex in Lasalle, 7200 Newman Blvd.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday February 29, 2024 at 12:00 pm at Madre Dei Cristiani Church, 7935, rue Lefebvre, and thence, to the Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery (Mausolée St-Pierre et St-Paul).
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Centre d'hébergement Yvon-Brunet for their wonderful support and care.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Montreal Children's Hospital Foundation would be appreciated in memory of Antonio Quarta.

Tony and Mary, Nina and I offer you our deepest condolences of your father's passing. I certainly remember him (along with your mom) when I used to come over your place during our younger phase of our lives. I remember him being a happy go lucky man, always with a smile and very respectful. To think that he lived until 102 years old is amazing and having him alive for a good portion of your life.
