It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Anastasios Voutos, on October 27, 2024, at the age of 92.
Cherished father of Dennis (Penelope) and Marina (Dino), devoted grandfather of Anastasia, Ulysses, Daisy and Felice. He will also be deeply missed by his sister Katina and the mother of his children Lina, his sister-in-law Sandra, as well as nieces, nephews, godchildren and friends.
Born to Dionysios and Maria in Katastari, Zakynthos, Greece, he was one of six siblings who shared an unbreakable bond. In 1954, he immigrated to Montreal, where he built a life rich in love, laughter, and faith. Beloved by family and friends, he will be remembered for his gentle humor, unwavering devotion to the church, and boundless wisdom and patience. His kind spirit touched many, especially his children and grandchildren, who were his pride and joy. His legacy lives on in the hearts of all who had the honor of knowing him.
The family will receive condolences on Sunday, November 3, 2024 from 4pm to 8pm.
A funeral service will be held on Monday November 4, 2024 at 10:30 am at St- Dionysios Greek Orthodox Church.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the doctors and nurses at the CHSLD de Lachine for their wonderful support and care.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to St-Dionysios Greek Orthodox Church would be appreciated.
