It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Etelka Janzso, on July 19, 2023, at the age of 66.
Beloved wife for 45 years of Manfred Klee, cherished mother of Joseph (Stéphanie) and Éric, devoted grandmother of Jessica, Nathan and James. She will also be deeply missed by her brothers Jeno and Joe, and many relatives and friends.
As per her wishes, no service will be held.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the doctors and nurses at the Cité-de-la-Santé Hospital for their wonderful support and care.

Etelka my friend, our kids brought us together one night when my kids and I were driving back from Lake George and decided to stop off the beaten track at the convenience store for drinks about one hour from the Canadian border. As we were about to pay for the drinks we hear someone calling my son's name, Mehdi. I immediately thought who would know us in the middle of nowhere? Well it was Erik. Our boys went to Twin Oaks School. That was the beginning of a wonderful friendship. At times trying times with our teenage boys but trying our best to teach them values. I appreciate welcoming my son to your home when things got heated up at home. I guess this is what I'm hearing from your friends that you were everyone's mom. I admire your resilience and strength even though at times you did not believe that you had the strength. I admire that you changed careers to the travel industry to do what you loved the most and as you said" so that I can travel with benefits " . We were able to take 7 trips together with our combined benefits. Many funny stories to tell or not. So now that you take your final trip I wish you a peaceful one and cheers to your life. Love you. I have known Etelka since the age of 8 or 9 years old , I'm 62 now, and I have a lot of great memories with her and Manfred.. She was always like a big sister to me . My deepest and sincerest condolences. She will always be in my thoughts.

My very first memory was sitting beside Etelka in grade 8, reading George Orwell’s animal house. I had visited Father Mac and she invited me to go to her English class. After that, we became friends as she was good friends with Anne, Manon and Cindy, who were good friends of mine. There are many great memories of our adventures, but one that sticks out in my mind was how proud she was of her family. She was thrilled when Joey became a Sunshine boy in the Toronto Sun and I photographed him. She also helped me with many travel arrangements and came to my mothers funeral to represent all of our friends she said. I feel so honoured to have had such a wonderful friend in my life.
