Alfonso Lapenna, Nicoletta 1940 - 2024
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Nicoletta Alfonso Lapenna, on May 29, 2024, at the age of 83 surrounded by family. Born on December 5th, 1940 in Provvidenti, Italy, Nicoletta lived her life as a proud wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. Her life was characterized by her resilience, love and cheerful spirit.
Beloved wife of Domenico Lapenna, cherished mother of Antonio (Filomena), Michael (Maria) and Sue (Jean-Luc), devoted grandmother of Tanya, Alexandra (Marco), Anthony, Julia (Philip), Jessica and Jonathan. She will also be deeply missed by her nieces and nephews as well as many relatives and friends.
Our mom will always be remembered as someone who participated and organized many events for her church and community. She was a strong and independant woman that enjoyed an active lifestyle. May she find eternal peace, knowing her legacy and spirit endures in the hearts and lives of all who had the fortune of knowing her.
The family will receive condolences on Thursday, June 6, 2024 from 2 pm to 5 pm and from 7 pm to 9 pm, and Friday, June 7, 2024 as of 9:00 am at the Yves Légaré Complex in Lasalle, 7200 Newman Blvd.
A funeral service will be held on Friday June 7, 2024 at 11:00 am at Sainte-Catherine-de-Sienne Catholic Church, and thence, to the Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the entire staff of the CHSLD Henri-Bradet and the doctors and nurses at the Royal Victoria Hospital for their wonderful support and care.
