It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Valerie King on January 17th 2026. Born on October 13th 1940 in Bournemouth England, her life was marked by love, grace and a devotion to her family.
Predeceased by her father Cyril Aubrey King, her mother Vera Wood, her stepfather Wilfred Chamberlain, daughter Kerry, brother Barry, and great granddaughter Bailee. She leaves to mourn her Children Gary, Neal, Lisa, Kwame (Lynda), Nyki (Jen) and Tarie (Tanya), and special daughters in law Nancy and Carmie. Her grandchildren Holly, Krista (Dustin), Mycal (Taylor), Kheyra (Brandon) Keon (Sarah-Joy) Trystan, Jayden, Nylin, Shaylin, Ivy, Jenna, Jacob and Kobe. Great Grandchildren Alyson, Aria, Talon, Justice, Scarlett and Paisley, sisters Marcia (Dave) and Roslyn and sister in law Ina as well as nieces and nephews and extended family and friends. Her gentle presence and unwavering care for her family will be forever cherished.
The family will receive condolences on Thursday January 22nd from 11am-3pm and 5pm-9pm at Yves Legare 7200 Newman Blvd LaSalle
