In Loving Memory of Srecko Stefanovic Sr.
March 29, 1933 - October 7, 2026
After a long and fulfilling life of 93 years, Srecko Sr. passed away peacefully, leaving behind cherished memories and a lasting legacy.
Born in Gornji Milanovac, Serbia, Srecko Sr. grew up on a farm with humble beginnings. After proudly serving in the military, his journey took him to Slovenia, where he met and married the love of his life, Martina, then briefly to Switzerland before settling in Canada with their only son, Srecko Jr.
Through hard work and determination, Srecko Sr. built a remarkable life in Canada, always putting his family at the heart of everything he did. A skilled mechanic, millwright, and machinist, he and Martina founded Precimax Ltd. in 1974, a family business that continues through the next generations.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Martina; son Srecko Jr. (Rosa); grandchildren Amanda (Mark) and Adam (Karina); and great-grandchildren Victoria, Jonathan, and Arianna.
He is survived by his brother Zivko (Jelena), along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family members in Serbia and throughout Europe. He was predeceased by his brothers Milos and Tomislav, and his sister Adamka (known as Lija).
A remarkable man, respected businessman, and natural storyteller, Srecko Sr. loved sharing stories and connecting with everyone he met. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and the many business associates who came to know him personally.
“The love of my life. I will miss you for the rest of mine.” - Martina
