Born on December 15th, 1953, in the Moscow Region of Russia, Serguei Poluchkin was a devoted father and grandfather. For the past 20 years, he worked as a professional manager and director of a chartered real estate firm.
Serguei graduated from the Saint Petersburg Military College in the 1970s and later attended a military academy in the 1980s. In 1991, he immigrated to North America, where he built a diverse career over the next three decades, working as an administrator and a successful coach.
A man of many interests, Serguei had a passion for travel and sports. Throughout his life, he was known for his intellect, curiosity, and generosity.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Violetta Vorobieva; his son, Valentin Poluchkine; and his cherished grandchildren, Polina and Andrew.
A memorial service will be held on June 7th at 11:30 AM at 45 rue Principale, Laval. In lieu of flowers, donations in Serguei Poluchkin’s memory may be made to support his children.
