Renate Bérubé (née Stemann)

Renate passed away on May 16, 2026. She was a loving mother and grandmother, devoted
wife to the late Gerry Bérubé, and a committed member of her community. At 95 years old, she
was independent to the end: living in her home in St-Bruno-de-Montarville, caring for her friends
and neighbours, gardening, going for long walks, entertaining guests, and playing bridge every
week. She will be missed by the many family members, friends, and neighbours whose lives she
touched.
Renate is survived by her grandsons, Chris and Dan, her daughter-in-law Carol, and her many
friends. She is predeceased by her son Roger, her husband of 58 years Gerard, her brother
Wilhelm, and her sister-in-law Gertrud.
A funeral service will be held at Yves Légaré Complexe Rive-Sud (2750 Bd Marie-Victorin,
Longueuil) on Friday, May 29th
Reception from 11:30 AM to 3 PM, Ceremony at 3 PM
