It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Phyllis Payne, on March 25, 2026, at the age of 95.

Beloved wife of the late Cecil Clarke, cherished mother of Ann Marie (Christopher), devoted grandmother of Owen (Francine), Nathaniel (Audrey), Candice and Sheldon,. She will also be deeply missed by her great-grandchildren Lara, Trystan, Darius, Kilian, Elanor, Kenzo and Naïla, her brother Ralph, sister Ena, and many relatives and friends.

The family will receive condolences on Monday, April 6, 2026 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday April 7, 2026 at 10:00 am in the chapel of the funeral complex in Lasalle, and thence, to the Mont-Royal Cemetery, North gate by Chemin-de-la-Forêt Street.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the doctors and nurses of the Oncology department at the Jewish General Hospital for their wonderful support and care.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Segal Cancer Centre Foundation would be appreciated.
