On Monday, July 27, our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Mike Barbayannis, passed away in Montreal at the age of 82 years old, originally from Eleftheriani, Nafpaktias, Greece.
Beloved husband of Zoe Katsenos, cherished father of Vicky (Mario Cyr), Helen (Peter Politis) and Theodora, devoted grandfather of George and Michael Politis. He will also be deeply missed by his in-laws George (Ourania Politis) and Raymonde Villeneuve, his loving siblings, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
The family will receive condolences on Sunday, August 2, 2026 from 5:00PM to 9:00PM at Complexe Ste-Dorothée, 1350, autoroute 13, Laval, QC H7X 3W9.
The funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 3, 2026 at 11:00AM at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church, 4865 du Souvenir, Chomedey, Laval, QC H7W 1E1.
Interment will follow at Cimetière de la Paroisse St-Martin, 4080 Boulevard Saint-Martin Ouest, Laval, QC H7T 1C1.
Following the burial, coffee service will be held in the church hall.
