It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Maria dos Anjos Amaral, who passed away on December 15, 2025, at the age of 89. She was the beloved wife of the late Mr. José Vieira Amaral and was predeceased by her daughter Rosaria and her grandson Christopher.
She leaves to mourn her children: Maria de Fatima (late Carlos Manuel), Maria dos Anjos (Manuel), José (Aïda), Altino (Vero), Maria do Carmo (Manuel), Francisco (Gina), Pedro (Maria), Paulina (Joe), and Gracia (Michel). She is also survived by 28 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive condolences on Sunday, December 21, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., at Yves Légaré Funeral Complex in Laval, located at 1350 Highway 13, Laval, QC, H7X 3W9.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, December 22, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at Saint Ambroise Church, located at 1215 Beaubien Street East, Montréal, QC, H2S 1T8.
The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the caregiving staff of Jean-Talon Hospital.
