It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Jozsef Daniel Szokup, on December 30th, 2025, at the age of 89.

Beloved husband of Erzsébet Markovics for 57 years, cherished father of Robert (Antonia) and Elizabeth (Frank), devoted grandfather of Victoria, Christina, Michael-Robert, Julia and Matteo. He will also be deeply missed by many relatives and friends.

A mass will be held on Saturday, January 10th, 2026 at 11 am at Our Lady of Hungary Church : 90 Rue Guizot O, Montreal, QC H2P 1L4

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the caregivers of CHSLD de Laval for their wonderful support and care.
