It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John (Richard) Gumbley, on April 8, 2026, at the age of 91.
Survived by his children Richard (Francine), Guy (Anne-Marie), Carole (Yvon), Raymond (Andrea) and former wife, Annette Guérard with whom he maintained a close and enduring friendship.
Loving grandfather of Véronique (Benoit), Frédérik (Alexandra), Vicky, Kym (Alexandre), Marie-Élizabeth (Frédéric), Mathieu (Devon), Hope (Zachary), Cody, Makayla and great-grandson Raphael.
As well as his brother David (Late Wilma), and other relatives and friends.
The family will receive condolences on Saturday, May 2, 2026 from 10:00 am to 11:30 am at Yves Légaré funeral complexe : 7200, Newman Blvd in LaSalle.
The funeral service will be held the same day at 11:30 am in the chapel of the complex.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the nurses, nurses aids, patient attendants and all other staff at the Centre d'hébergement des Seigneurs in Little Burgundy for their wonderful support and care.
