It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Ioannis Chountalos, on March 7th 2026, at the age of 67.

Beloved husband of Eftichia Protopapadakis Chountalos, cherished father of Vasiliki (Hercules), George and Maria, devoted son of Vasiliki. He will also be deeply missed by his mother in-law Maria, his brother Peter (Effie), his in-laws Steve (Dia) and Sophie (Marinos), his nieces, nephews, cousins, as well as by all other family and friends here and in Greece.

The family will receive condolences on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 5pm to 9pm at the Yves Légaré Saint-Dorothée Complexe.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 13th 2026 at 11:00 am at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church, 4865 Chem. du Souvenir, and thence, to the Notre-Dame-de-L'Espérance Cemetery.
