April 25, 1930 - November 29, 2025.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. John Boucouvalas at the age of 95.
Beloved husband of over 60 years, to his dear wife Eugenia Varelaki, cherished father to Chris (Anna), Steve (Nancy), devoted grandfather to John, Michael, Alexandra (Kurtis), Olivia (George) and great grandfather to John.
John left Greece at an early age for his adopted homeland of Canada, where he met the love of his life. Through hard work and sacrifice he built a loving home and beautiful family.
His passion, sense of humor, and storytelling will be greatly missed by his family, relatives and friends.
The family will receive condolences on Sunday, December 7, 2025 from 5pm to 8pm at: Yves Legare Funeral Comeplexe, 1350 Autoroute 13, Laval,
A funeral service will be held on Monday December 8, 2025 at 11:00 am at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church, 4865 Chem. du Souvenir, and thence, to the Mont-Royal Cemetery.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the doctors and nurses at the Hôpital Cité-de-la-Santé, the staff at Le Dufresne and all the caregivers for their wonderful support and care.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Greek Community of Greater Montreal, would be appreciated.
