It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Jacques Gendron, on May 2nd, 2026, at the age of 90.
Beloved husband of Maria Trifiletti and cherished father of Marc (Lisa), Natalie (John) and Anne-Marie (Anthony). Beloved granfather of Nicolette, Alexandra, Vaughn, Sarah, Elisabeth, Kristen, Kayla and Savannah. He will also be deeply missed by his sister Liette, his brother Reo, his sisters-in-law Linda and Carmela, and many relatives and friends.
Jacques was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He proudly served his country in the Canadian Armed Forces, including time stationed in Germany. A lifelong fan of the Montreal Canadiens, he enjoyed playing hockey and golf. Jacques never missed his children's or grandchildren's sporting events, always showing up with pride and support.He will be greatly missed, and his memory will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
The family will receive condolences on Friday, May 8th, 2026 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm, as well as Saturday, May 9th, 2026 as of 9:00 am at Yves Légaré funeral complex : 7200, Newman Blvd in LaSalle.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday May 9th, 2026 at 10:30 am at St-John-Bosco Church, 2510 Springland, Montreal.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to his caregiver Grace Yeboah and the staff at the LaSalle CHSLD for their wonderful support and care.
